So haven't posted in FOREVER! So by now Layla is already 7 months! She can sit up by herself! She has 2 bottom teeth! And she is startin to get to the crawling stage (Uncle Bubba..be proud...shes an expert Army Crawler!) Last month she went for her shots and she weighed a WHOPPING 15 lbs 14 oz! Big baby girl! She is in DayCare now! Has a B.F.F.F! Her name is Makenzie and her birthday JUST SO HAPPENS TO BE 10/28/08! No wonder they are B.F.F.F's! But her B.F.F.F is leaving her tomorrow. But she will be ok...She will just have to play with Ana!

As for me...where to start! I had my interview for my extern today! WOOO! Im so excited! Im going to be working Monday, Wed, Thurs, Friday- 8.30 to 5 Tues- 8.30 to 12 and Saturday is 8.30-1. So things are really starting to get intense! Im almost done! I have EXACTLY 9 days until my extern! Im going CitiMed off of Little Rd...kinda like an Urgent Care place! I'll be doing mostly back office stuff THANK GOD! And...tomorrow is my birthday HOLLA! The big 19!! I feel like something big and exciting and GOOD is going to happen tomorrow! We shall see and I shall let you know!! Things aren't to great money-wise. I got screwed like a nail in a piece of wood. My "boss" is a major butt-head and screwed me over baaad! Whatta big meanie! See if I order anything from her! Im broke..mama is buying everything for Layla b/c I can't! Hopefully things are going to be better here soon!

And soon I will be your Medical Assistant! Well Mod 130 is over! We learned more about body systems and diseases. VERY VERY interesting! My overall grade in that class was a 93! So..again..I got President's List (which is my goal until I graduate!) SO far I am achieving that goal! Next is Mod 160 and we will be learning how to administer injections! HOW SCARY and EXCITING! What can I say..nothin but good stuff is happening! I'm officially stoppin breastfeeding. On Monday I start workin w/Angie (a friend of LaSha's) I'll basically be her Personal Assistant which ok for the pay Im gettin! $10/hour! I really don't wanna work..but it don't matter what I want..its what I HAVE to do. So Miss Layla starts daycare tomorrow = (. I'm gonna miss her like CRAZY! Next week my lil Layla will be 6months! She's gettin so big!!

Ok so driving there was a pain my butt! LITERALLY!! My LEFT butt cheek hurt the whole way there and the whole way back! It was okay...wasn't as great as Glen Rose...nothing can top that one! = ]. Layla was a big hit! I'm surprised they didn't try to auction her off! She went easter egg hunting and did very good! She loved all her eggs very very much! And I loved the candies on the inside of the egg! She was most loved by Shelly's kids! They was aaaalll up in her grill the WHOLE time we were in the pavillion. BUT they managed to make her laugh which is more than what i can do! Overall...NEVER AGAIN! The next Family Reunion I'm going to better be in TEXAS! And more organized...Lorrie....host the next one again! = ]

Haven't posted in awhile so I SHALL! So here goes!

School is gettin pretty complicated. Sad to say that I am not going to be on President's list this time around = [. Believe me I am CRUSHED! Miss Layla Thomas is almost 5 months. actually this saturday she will be 5 months. HOLY COW...she's practically in college already she's gettin so big so fast! On april 1st I am going to start her on veggies! WOO. thats going to be pretty exciting. First carrots, green beans, peas, and then squash. then after she enjoys all of those we will slowly go to fruits. I don't want her to be picky like her mom (Its not good its not good at all! I can't even take a teeny tiny bite out of a piece of brocoli w/out gagging!) She is now able to roll from her back to her tummy! At first she was VERY slow at doing it but now as soon as you lay her on her back...you blink and she's already on her tummy. Her last dr. apt. she weighed 13 lbs. and 13 oz! In 2 weeks she has her check-up for her ears and then she has an ENDO. apt. So we will see how her medicine is doing for her. Hopefully they won't have to do anymore adjustments?!

(Oh and since I know YOU (you know who i'm talkin about) are going to read this let me just say one thing...

I get the feeling your embarassed b/c me and your son had a child w/out being married. well..true we did but we had a BEAUTIFUL baby girl. He is 19 years old now and can make decisions for himself. You gotta realize that he has a daughter and the choices he makes is for her. Yes, he is going to be staying every other weekend with me. Me and him and my mom already discussed that. Please let your son live his life w/out holding your hand. I understand you don't think it's right that he sleeps in the same house w/me since we're not married, but he wants to see what its like to wake up when his daughter wakes up. He wanted to experience what I experience and I let him. And NO I'm not going to marry him JUST because we have a child together. That is the wrong reason to get married. I need you and the rest of his family to please just stay out of the choices me and him make. FOR EXAMPLE, the money he gives me. His choice to give me that not mine! I even told him last friday he can give me how much he wants. His response? I'll never give you less that 70 but DEFFINATELY more than 70. And Layla's last name. Me and him discussed that WAAAY before Layla was even born. He said he wants Layla to have his last name but he understands my reasoning and he's okay with it. So ya'll should be okay with it too! sorry for that brief interruption! anyways...gami stayed w/us this past weekend. It was pretty fun. He had fun w/Layla and Layla had fun w/him. She was pretty gassy and let him SMELL about it! = D

Well...I had took Layla to the dr. for her 4 month shots. I mentioned that her ear is lookin a lil clogged with wax. To the point that I can't even see in her ear! (which is MEGA annoying!) So anyways...the Dr. checks in her ears and says, "I can't even see in her ear! I'm going to have to remove the wax." AND she does, AND Layla screams crazy loud. The dr. prescribes Ciprodex for her ears. Insert 4 drops BID (thats twice daily) in her (R) ear. Ok...I did...took her back to the dr. Monday (?) b/c now she has a nasty mucousy cough! The dr. checks her ears AGAIN and says "Not good baby girl! She has 2 ear infections now. I'm going to give her some antibiotics. She needs to take Amoxyl 3 ml BID (thats twice daily!!!) for 10 days." Ok...well first of all Layla showed NO signs whatsoever of her ear bothering her! She doesn't pull at her ears, wasn't ever and still isn't running fever, no fussing out of her norm.! The dr. said most likely she's had these ear infections from her Bronchiolitis! SAY WHAT NOW?! She was 2 months when she had that!!! The dr. also said Layla is a GREAT candidate for having to get tubes in her ears...especially since she's only 4 months old and having ear infections already!! = o! My poor poor Layla!

As you know, Layla started cereal on 3-2-09! And she LOVED it! She did so good I was suprised! I started feeding her and she kept MOST of it in her mouth, except when she kept turning her head to watch T.V. she would manage to get it on her cheeks. Eventually, though, she got tired of me feeding her and kinda took over the job. She wouldn't let go of the spoon so I had to let her feed herself. She did pretty good for a beginner. Got the spoon directly in her mouth and didn't miss on the way there.

The Big 4 (months that is!)

So Miss Layla is 4 Months old! Wow...I didn't think the 28th of every month could be so important! My baby girl is just gettin so biiiig! She FINALLY started laughing! Me and Mo'Mo have been tryin so hard to get her to laugh and I finally did it!! I'll have to post the video later though. Also, yesterday Layla had her 4 month check up. She is coming in at 13 pounds 9 ounces and 23.5 inches. Yup...she's my little worm from the Labryinth! HAHA! The Dr. checked her ear and noticed that she had a BAD waxy build up in her ear. I brought that to her attention because it happens to bug the crap outta me when I see a BIG chunk of wax in her ear and I can't get it out!! It drives me crazy! But the Dr. tried to get some of it out and said the wax was so gooey that it was actually tearing her skin while she was trying to get it out. She said when she looked in her ear she couldn't even see the eardrum it was so bad. = [! So she prescribed some ear drops. Cost me a whopping $102.58!! Holy cow...are you serious?! Yes, I'm serious...and it sucks. But hopefully this will clear up her ear infection. Layla is my little superbaby....she never ONCE let on that her ear was bothering her!! But, here recently she has been acting kinda fussy. For 2 days in a row I have had to put her to sleep instead of lay her in bed and her fall asleep on her own! UH OH! She also got her shots yesterday. She wasn't happy about that because she just got her ear played with. She was super fussy! Today....we get to start her on cereal! YAY! I will take some pictures and post them later.

As for me, school is still going pretty good. A new mod. has come and let me tell you...it's starting to get challenging!! This instructor is NOTHING like my other one. In fact, our last instructor completely babied us the whole time and did not let us attempt to fly from the bird nest (wow that was cheesy)! So I come into this new mod. expecting it to be a piece of cake and expecting to take short cuts like I did the last 2 mods. NO not happening! BUT, so far I have a 96.2 average! WATCH OUT PRESIDENTS LIST....SHREAI IS COMING YOUR WAY!!! I'm so proud of myself! My goal for this school year is to get president's list the whole school year until graduation. I think i can achieve that goal!!

I am allowed to express my feelings all I want!! I do not need to stop telling my FAMILY how I feel and what I go through for another persons' sake. Bloggers blog because they like to keep people updated, and vent! Well guess what? I DO!

Another note: I got presidents list agaiN! WOOO! Crappy grade though! 93! = (. Im not happy about that at all! I gotta take Layla to the dr. on Monday she has to get her 4 month shots. And i'll probably be starting her on cereal come march also!! Its gettin pretty warm outside so Layla has been in nothing but dresses or shorts!

Also, Layla is getting so big! She knows she has feet now. So in the morning she will play in her bouncer and instead of touching her birds with her hands, she uses her feet! Sometimes she gets them stuck in the bird pirch and gets mad. Also, I used to NEVER have to lock her in her bouncer...well now I have too! Came in from using the restroom and Miss Thomas (Layla ofcourse) was half-way outta her swing. I said "WHAT YOU DOING?! You trying to come find mommy?" She just had this look on her face like....Uhhh I dont know what your talking about? I didnt do nothing!

Overdue Update

Well...its been awhile...i know! Layla had an appointment on Tuesday with her Endocronologist. She weighs 12 pounds and 8 ounces and 23 in! Aww...she is my chubby catepillar!! She is getting so big! She can hold her own bottle, play with ALL her toys (she holds them very well), she is very talkative. ALL the time. We are still trying to get her to giggle. But maybe soon! Also..I will probably be putting her on formula next month. I need to get my shots at school before my Extern comes up.

And for school...its a new Mod. I am now considered a Senior. So far for my Bi-Weekly grade I have a 97!! Im shooting for Presidents List again!!! Im basically learning the same stuff I learned last Mod. So this mod is very tiring!!

Layla is coming up on Month 4 of her life!! How EXCITING!! My baby girl is growing up so fast!

I have not been on in awhile! Soooo busy! School, babysitting, and GAMI! Of course layla..but thats not a chore! The first Module in school is over! I had a 96 average WOOO! HELLO PRESIDENTS LIST! (that basically means i kept an A average for that mod. I get a pin for my id badge!!) Now today starts a new mod...and Im gonna do JUST AS GOOD probably better! Gami also starts school tonight...same school i go to. So im sure ill be seein him ALOT. Babysitting is pretty sucky! The mama barely brings them over! And im HURTING for money! = /. Oh well life goes on! Income tax will help ALOT!

So as yall know...me and Gami arent together no more. He complains that I dont let him watch Layla and I told him...CAUSE YOU CANT! He doesnt know how to feed her with a bottle or ANYTHING! So I let him come stay the night Friday night (he slept on the couch!) and when Layla wakes up he has to wake up too! So 3 AM rolls around...Layla starts crying cause she hungry. She cant eat till her diaper is changed! So i go get gami...HEY LAYLA IS CRYING! It takes him a minute to get up. He changes her diaper....and stays up with me while she eats. She goes back to sleep, i go to sleep, he goes tosleep. 6 AM rolls around...Layla starts crying...ITS FEEDING TIME! Ok...wake up gami...Layla needs her diaper changed. He changes her, I feed her. he stays awake. After she eats...me and her go into the living room. She not gonna go back to sleeep until about 8-9. I look in my room...Gami is sleepin on my bed. WAKE UP GAMI!!! You still gotta giver her her medicine, give her a bath, and get her dressed for the day. I walk BACK into the living room. Go BACK into the bed room he is sitting on my bed sleeping in his hands. I say GET UP GAMI! LAYLA IS AWAKE NOT ASLEEP! I watch him get up and put his jeans on. Where you going? He says he's gonna go home and sleep before he goes to work at 11AM! I say Gami...I dont get to sleep before I go to work! "YOU DONT WORK SHREAI" uh...yea I do...I babysit from 8-5.30 =, Take care of Layla EVERY DAY!!!!, plus go to school at night. I dont complain about being tired! Do you see why you cant take care of Layla by yourself? HE ANSWERS ME: NO!" What the hell?! You cant stay awake long enough to give her medicine!! Haaa!

Summary:

I broke up with Gami. I told him until he can prove he is responsible I dont think its best we be together. He said instead of giving me $55 a week he is gonna give me $100 a week. No complaints there! Also...he wants to start taking care of Layla SO...when im at school (until he starts on the 26th) he is gonna be watching her at MY HOUSE. He did last night...mom said he did good he just needs help with some things.

Layla is good...still sick! She is getting more and more beautiful every day. Its just amazing how gorgeous she is! lol. Probably gonna go get her 3 month pictures taken..maybe at the beginning of Feb...im not sure yet.

Im babysitting twin girls. They are almost 3 and Im getting paid $250 every 2 weeks. Yea...its not good pay but Im hurting for the money so I dont really care!! = D

School is good. Im about to go to my next Module on the...26th! So far I have a 94 average! WOOO HOOO! Its great and really fun!!!

Yes..I am! I have been accepted to Concorde Career Institute!! = D! I am going for Medical Assisting! Oh yea baby!! Things are gonna get better for me and Layla! It must be meant to be because I got a 4,000 dollar grant and about 2-3 loans for over 3000 dollars!! So..my end balance to pay the school is...NOTHING, ZIP, NADA, 0! Its unbelievable! Im supposed to start Monday but...I forgot to tell the admissions rep. that im gonna be gone from the 20-28. So im gonna see if there is a later date to start! I am going to graduate in 8/09! I cant believe it! Its night classes from 6-10 p so that will be good. And my WONDERFUL mommy said she will watch Layla while im at school. Good thing about that is Mom will only have to feed her at 7 and then Layla will probably go to sleep around 8:30 or 9. Also...starting December 31 I am getting a job...not that good of a job...I think LaSha figured up 2.50 an hour? BUT...Thats an extra 500 a month! I am going to be babysitting 3 year old twin girls! I just got ALLLL my bills in and they are close to 2500!! So I really gotta start paying those off! Plus..I want to make atleast a monthly payment of (MAYBE) 160 to start paying off my loans for school (WHOA THAT SOUNDS SO RESPONSIBLE!) I realized that I cant wait on gami no more! His dad and brothers will pay for his school and he still wont go! STUPID right? So I realized if I am going to be a good mother to Layla and give her what she needs (without having to ask Mom or Gami's dad) its time for me to go back to school! I cant sit around and be dependent on other people. She is my daughter and its my responsibility. Yes...Im probably gonna be EXHAUSTED! Im gonna be watching twin girls and Layla all day PLUS homework...going to school 6-10p, and then waking up around 1 or 2 to feed Layla...then back up around 7!! Its gonna be a challenge...but a challenge I am willing to face for Layla. She is my motivation WITHOUT A DOUBT! God will see me through to the end! When I walk across that stage and get my MEdical Assisting diploma I will be a new person and Layla will have an even better life than she already does!

It sure has been!! Layla is doing good. She is almost 7 weeks old! Holy cow...my baby is growing up so fast!! She smiles AAAALLLL the time! and ofcourse does her little baby talk...sooper dooper smoocher cute! She went to her Thyroid specialist. She weighs 8 pounds 6 ounces and is 20.8 inches long. Her dr. said her hormone level came up to a little above normal so he has to fix her dosage and bring it down a little. She has to go Friday to get an ultrasound on her thyroid to see if her thyroid 1) never developed or 2) very UNDER-developed.

But..she has to take medicine for the rest of her life

BUT she is a healthy little girl!!

Today...Layla Jolean Thomas is 1 month old!! I cant believe..my baby girl is growing up so fast!! SLOOOOWWWW DOWN! Her accomplishments are...SHE SMILES ALL THE TIME! I know right??! Shes an advanced lil cookie!! This morning at 3 o'clock she didnt wanna go to sleep after she ate so...i sat her in my bed and we talked...she smiled and "cooed" back at me!! HOW CUTE!! She is geting her pictures taken tomorrow. I cant wait until we go to Ohio she will be 2 months and have her ears pierced. Man my Layla is growing soo fast!! She is starting to sleep longer at night time too!!

yes...Hypothyroidism. Layla has it! It means her thyroid isnt producing the hormone that gives her energy...thats why she sleeps all the time! so now she is on medicine...which i have to crush up and give her w/apple juice! its been making her suuuuuper fussy! she cant sleep even though she is EXAUSTED!! But..things are looking better. she has to get her blood drawn...AGAIN on december 4 and december 9 she has an app. with an endocronologist (sp?) but i know he will tell me her thyroid is better and she dont need medicine noooo more!

Remember when I said so far being a mom is easy? Well..it is..sometimes! Sometimes I get frustrated...usually at night. I feel like im constantly spoiling her! When she eats for like 20-30 minutes she usually goes straight to sleep and sleeps for atleast 3 hours! NOT AT NIGHT! She will eat...stay awake for a while in bed and start crying! But..shes not hungry cause an hour hasn't even passed! The only was to keep her content is if I put her over my shoulder and stand! Then she sleeps...or MoMo has to do something that makes her sleep! IDK! I feel like I dont know what to do to make her happy! I dont want to spoil her!! Like just now...she ate for 24 minutes total...fell asleep and i put her in her bed....SHE WOKE UP CRYING! what made her happy? throwing her over my shoulder! but...i decided to put her in her bouncer and she fell right to sleep! I def. need more training on this whole MOMMY thing!!

On another note....

Layla had a Dr. Apt. on Thursday.......and "in one corner is the AMAZING LAYLA JOLEAN THOMAS weighing in at a chunky monkey weight of....6 pounds 2 ounces!!"

Ok...I have become a target for the most awful things!!! Tuesday I was changing Layla's DIRTY DIRTY runny poopy diaper on moms bed. YOU KNOW WHAT SHE DID?! She shot a stream of watery poop right on my leg!! Didnt get on Mo'Mo's bed AT ALL! Just on my leg!! Then yesterday I was changing her in her bed and she was OFCOURSE dirty..so i change her and she shoots at me again (but i dodged it!). Im giving her a bath last night...take her dirty and wet diaper off and shes naked and i take her to the kitchen to start her bath....SHE PEES ALL OVER MY HANDS AND MOMOS BED!! She has it in for me!! I might as well paint a target on my tummy so she can get some practice in!

The Start of a New Life

So...my life is OVER!! But thats ok with me because a new life has begun! I am now a mommy to a beautiful baby girl! Layla Jolean Thomas! I have NEVER (not just saying this because shes my daughter) seen such a gorgeous baby girl! She nothing how i dreamt she would be...she is 10x's better! I couldn't have asked for anything more! and...i dont care what people say...my labor wasn't THAT BAD and giving birth wasn't THAT bad and waking up in the middle of the night to feed her is not bad at all. People are always saying its so hard being a mom...i dont see why they say that! Everything about being a mom is PERFECT! Its fun!

And im sorry for anyone that i didnt call when i had the baby. I was so busy with getting breastfeeding down, dealing with visitors, and trying to keep the SICK away!

By the way...Gami was sick and has been for a week...poor thing has apendicitis!! HE is getting surgery today = [!

One Day Away

HOLY COW!! Tomorrow is the day I go in to the hospital at 4:30 p! I get to have pills shoved up in my cervix! How exciting!! Ofcourse, thats only if im NOT dilated any. But...the Dr. will put these pills by my cervix to soften and thin it out. He says I should maybe start having contractions soon afterwards. Then if Im still not dilated when he comes back in the morning then he will have to put some gel on my cervix to get it to dilate...then he will break my water...then we wait!! I'm so excited!! I just cant wait! I had a hard time falling asleep last night! I kept thinking about the contractions, then pushing, then holding her, then bringing her home, then changing her diaper in the middle of the night, then dressing her, then having her help me pass out Halloween candy! It's almost here!! Its hard to believe sometimes that im about to be a mommy!! But...I am defineatly looking forward to it! Layla Jolean Thomas----We are all waiting to meet you!!

Baby-Time COMING

Ok...Dr. App. today! Layla weighs 5 pounds and 12 ounces!!! Im 38 weeks and 4 days and STILL NOT DILATED! = 0! BUT...they are gonna induce labor October 28, 2008!! Thats Tuesday guys!! ill probably have her on Wednesday October 29, 2008! IM SO EXCITED!!!!

So last night me and mom are laying down to go to bed. Suddenly around 9 o'clock i start have contractions!! and they hurt!! BAD! AND they were like 2 minutes apart! I was getting really really excited! And they kept hurting worse and worse! I tell mom, "MAN IM DEFINEATLY GONNA HAVE TO GET AN EPIDURAL! THESE ARE NOTHING COMPARED TO WHAT IM GONNA BE FEELING!!!" she laughs. I go to the restroom and come back...a lil sad and down. Turns out that these "contractions" were actually just cramps. I had DIAREHA!! you can imagine how upset iwas...but mom found the need to laugh at me! = [....if i cant handle diareha cramps im screwed!!!!!

Mexican Baby-Shower

So yesterday was my 'Mexican Baby-Shower' on Gami's side of the family! It was very fun! HILARIOUS! I kept thinking if I was gonna continue laughing i might go into labor! ...but i didnt! Anyways...i got a total of 28 outfits and thats not including the ones that were 6-18months! I put those away until a later day! We got a MILLION socks, bibs, burp rags, and clothes! OMG the clothes!!! some of them i dont think she will wear because of the fact that they are summery and when she is about 3 months it will be january. But...you never know...it might be in the 80's in January. She got a BEAUTIFUL yellow dress. GORGEOUS! I think im defineatly gonna get her Easter pictures taken in it! Its soooooo pretty and its got little pearl like stones on and she was wear pearl ear rings. Its my favorite outfit we got! I also got 4 pair of shoes for her. Super cute as well!!
Lets see...in all reality I have about 8 days until im 39 weeks...and thats when they are gonna deliver my Layla-Bug! So...we will see! Hopefully she will be born before Bubba gets home so she can meet him!! Its her choice though..no pressure on my end!!

So...not much said yesterday at the Dr. Im not dilated AT ALL!! but..thats okay! Im hopin next week is the big DELIVERY DAY! wooO! I have a gained a total of 30 pounds throughout this pregnancy! WHOA! yea...im good and hopefully i will lose it all when i have Layla! baby shower w/gami's mom today...nothing but mexicans so mom is DEFINEATLY coming! Ok......so thats really about it!

ok..so wow..im gonna be a mommy VERY soon! WOW! I'm gonna be responsible for a lil baby! I have to change her diaper, feed her, play with her, and be a good mommy! And it's gonna happen really really soon! If not this week then next and if not next week then DEFINEATLY (sp?) the week after! (Hopefully NOT on the 27th!) But...i have to say...i CAN NOT wait to wake up in the middle of the night to feed Layla or change her diaper! I am for sure ready to hold my baby and start off on the mommy path! I have a Dr. App. tomorrow so i will (OFCOURSE) post an update at the library! = D Hopefully.....if im ever-so-lucky the nurse practitioner will do an exam and say im dilated to a 4! = 0! That would be GREAT! But...till then im still carrying Layla around in my tummy. With all the rolling she does she might as well just roll right out into my arms! = D

Oh Baby-Baby!

Again...another Dr. App. today at 11.30! Same ol' Same ol'! Sonogram measuring the baby..she is an AMAZING 5 pounds 6 ounces! My lil Layla-Bug is gettin so big!! Its very likely she might be a 6 pound baby!! = 0! Dr. just said now i see him every week and get a sonogram every week. Also the monitoring every week. Sonogram, listen to her heartbeat, talk w/the DOC! So another app. next Friday at 2.45! I'm hoping my lil' sunshine will be born next week! (cross your fingers and toes!) Thats all they said! So...now we wait for the labor pains! Can' wait! Im counting down the days! only 24 left! Hoping she will be born before Bubba comes back so he can see her!! Also want her to be born BEFORE Halloween cause Mandi and Schera got her a onesie thats say "This IS my costume" and pumpkin socks and pumpkin hat! CUUUUTE!

Layla's Progress

Ok so yesterday was my Dr. App. Not too much happened. i got to listen to her heartbeat for a good 15-20 minutes! every time she would move her heart rate would go from 130-180!! It was so funny! The Dr. says in a 15 minute time frame the baby's' heart rate should increase at least twice and Layla's did 6 or 7 times! He said she is VERY HEALTHY! He did another sonogram and said she is DEF. a girl and very healthy! The amniotic fluid is supposed to be between 8-12 and mine is right at an 8! He says that's ok but Friday I have to go get ANOTHER sonogram and if the fluid level drops below an 8 then its BABY TIME! And Auntie LaSha is wanting Layla to be born on 10-10-08! Her reason is....She has my name, she should be born the same day as me too! Maybe Layla will look like her too! LOL! He didn't measure her but I'm sure shes still in the 4 pound range! I'm just waiting each day for my water to break or contractions to start! Mo'Mo is too!! She calls me all the time "Any pains yet?" NOPE not yet!! I'm hoping REALLY REALLY soon! I'm hoping next week!!! Its all up to Layla though..or my Dr. on Friday!! as of now he's gonna let me ride it out! = / but I'm so ready! Ill post another update on Friday or ill just call LaSha and her do it if I'm baby-ready! We will see!

Clock's a-ticking!

So..today I am OFFICIALLY 9 months pregnant! WOO! Any day now (literally!!) Last Friday I had a Dr. app. aaaaand....Layla is HEAD-DOWN! she is ready to crawl out! She weighs a WHOPPING 4.5 pounds! (she soooo tiny!) No dilation yet so...still closed for business (as the nurse put it!) But...today i have a dr. app. and they are gonna monitor her heart rate, do ANOTHER sonogram, and possibly (& HOPEFULLY) tell me they are gonna take her at 37 weeks! thats next week folks!! either that or he's gonna make me wait it out. i prefer 37 weeks! Its ok if shes tiny...easier delivery hopefully. besides she wants to come home to her Mommy, Mo'Mo,....and daddy i guess!! Ill have to post what they say later.

Ok so I caught the blogging bug from all of ya'll. It seems to be going around. La Sha and I are working on putting together a page for me. It will take awhile, I'm relying on library computers or friends computers, so bare with me.
My goal is to keep everybody up to date on things going on with Layla and myself. Especially those members of my family who can't be here. (La Sha) Hopefully all of us blogging together will be fun.
